A BRIEF HISTORY
Carrington Heights Primary re-opened in 1995.
Parents from the surrounding informal settlement (Cato-Crest) demanded that the school re-open for their children.
It opened as a pre-primary, with grades 1,2 and 3.
In 1997, it began to grow by opening up more grades, it now catered for grades 1 up to grade 7.
Carrington Heights Primary became well known for music, educational assemblies, reading as well as end of year concerts.
